If you have followed any of my podcast ventures in the last few years, you’ll know I am terrible at maintaining them. Creating and nurturing a podcast is a difficult process. Sadly, I am drawing yet another podcast to a close….
Midnight Channel News lasted a year. A very patchy, disconnected year, but we made it. We delivered a Games of the Year episode and I’m glad we ended on a good note. But, I don’t think the format can withstand another 12 months. I enjoy working with Cameron and Scott and plan to work with them in the future, but the show itself just never found its flow.
Thank you if you subscribed! I hope you will keep us on your feeds, however, as the Midnight Channel News account is undergoing a major and promising change.
Cameron and I are working on an entirely new gaming and game culture podcast, this time with a more direct focus.
I love odd, ridiculous, and downright absurd video games. I collect (more like hoard) hundreds of them, and Cameron is no better. Every time we get paid we’re coming home with armfuls of bizarre titles, some of which are wrongly forgotten.
Combining a bit of retro and a bit of the niche market, we hope to deliver an interesting podcast focused on the games we hold dear. We’ve made a gigantic list of games we absolutely must talk about and haven’t stopped yet.
Thank you for listening to Midnight Channel News. You’ll love the new podcast, I just know it. Look for our new ep in the next few days. We’re recording tonight!
